Dear Friends,
Ronnie and I would like thank all of Cindy's family, friends and fans for their love and support in this difficult time. I can't put into words the feeling of loss we experienced with Cindy's passing. Ronnie and I are devastated. Dime A Dozen had its ups and downs over the last eight years but we always had a great deal of love and respect for each other both as players and as people - now more than ever. The future was bright and we were going for it. Cindy was our band mate, partner and friend. Our band was evolving into a vehicle for her original music. We will miss her always. Cindy was a working musician. Full time. Like most full time working musicians, she died without any estate to speak of. She had no life or even comprehensive auto insurance. Many of our friends and fans have asked us when our CD would be finished. This last week I have heard, "If there is ANYTHING I can do, ANYTHING, just let me know." a thousand times. Here's what you can do. Donate to the Cindy Terry Memorial Fund, Hill Country State Bank, Kerrville, Texas (account. # 500-273-880) or.. We have some live recordings, primarily from Waring that we are going to share with the public. A slick studio CD is not going to happen. Please support the Cindy Terry Memorial Fund by donating or buying a Dime A Dozen Live CD, Cactus Rose CD or both! All proceeds are going to a trust for Cindy's son's Ethan and Jeremiah. Needless to say these CDs will be rare as hen's teeth. Come join us in a musical tribute to Cindy at the Y.O. Resort & Conference Center Ballroom, November 23rd at 7pm. A great evening of entertainment is in store. Cindy was generous with her time and talent - probably to every person reading this web page. Please try to be as generous as you can in return. You have our deep-felt thanks. Watch this web site and local newspapers for the date of Cindy's wake and a benefit concert. We are also planning a compilation CD of Cindy's songs to be recorded by other artists and of course, Cindy's long-awaited studio CD. Again thank you for your love and support - Cindy would be proud. We love you all.
